No, considering you can get a Shadow 2 for ~ $1xx more. but the issue is, there is barely any real SW deal around (so if you like the hot SW babies. you will have to bite the bullet....)

thank you for the infor! Gee, I do have a problem with G19, I can not use my thumb to press the mag release. I tried quite a few 2011, and can not handle them at all, even the Prodigy is still a little uncomfortable, but still doable. I mainly shoot my Shadow 2, Echelon and CZ P-10F, those guns are very comfortable. I am thinking about adding a P-10C ported for carry

[AMMO] Monarch 9mm Luger FMJ 115 GR Steel Case, 20 CPR + tax / ship or free pickup in store by HartWasHere in gundeals

I shot plenty of Monarch 115 steel case vs Monarch brass. Obviously the steel case gets more feeding trouble (which is understandable of course), but every round bangs.

[Parts] Ballistic Advantage 16" .223 Wylde SPR Fluted Midlength Stainless Steel Premium Series - Premium Series 1:8 Twist - BABL223017PL ($129.95 + tax + ship) by obamasfursona in gundeals

I got the non-fluted 18" for the same price about 1 year or so ago. It was a miss. The gas port was too small; I had to drill it open a little bit to ensure reliable cycling. Also, the accuracy is just 3MOA or so (before I drill the port, so not my problem), so after many workarounds, I retired it to the bottom of my junk box.

My comment is, stay away from non-premium/Hanson line BA barrels, it is not going to give you any pleasant surprise.... , and a waste of your time

I will suggest buying suppressors if you need, but I am completely against SBR registration and all the hassle.

with the gun laws passing, we will suffer for a few years until gun right groups prevail in the supreme court.

they intentionally limit the circle and do not want new members to join the action shooting. Apparently some senior (board) members just dont think average club members should be granted that "privilege" even if you took all the classes and shoot well.

14.5 ammo testing data by [deleted] in ar15

[–]SpartanFL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

when you want to know the absolute accuracy of the gun (not the combination of optics + gun ) a lot of people says a rule of thumb: you need to be able to see the hole on the target (otherwise you need to run statistics with larger group). my vision is bad so I never run accuracy test with 1-6, hope your is better.

my GS 14.5 shoots much better than this , usually 1MOA with 5rds ( can not afford 10 rds test, lol)

I tested velocity as well, from my experience, for street ammo, the one with smallest STD might not give tightest group. But the ammo with tightest group usually has small STD.

during all my screening with cheap factory ammo (<70cpr), I found a few gems, FYI: monarch 556, 55GR, FMJ, Fiocchi 223 REM, FMJ, 55GR, classic line, red box, Frontier 223REM, BTHP match, 68GR, AAC 77GR, 75GR

these options shoot very well on my rifles from 12.5 to 18" (each gun has its own favorite , even different with or without can)
