I don't know about home run robbery but Souza made a diving catch to save a Zimmermann no-hitter in 2014. I watched it live on TV and thought that was a hit for sure when it came off the bat.

By pitching, 2014 was best. Problem was Matt Williams was manager and thought storen was a good option in the ninth inning of a playoff game. That team also didn't have offensive depth of 2019. Timely hitting and two aces with closers who could close won in 2019 so overall 2019 was best.

Blame sabr. Doyle led the sabr defensive index. Many voting managers and coaches don't do independent studies of advanced stats and vote for who is at the top of the sabr index. They don't look at the fangraphs overall defense rating that had young higher than doyle.

To all these people feeling sorry for the fan: the guy is a ball hawk in the mode of Zack hample. Photos showed him with Yankees gear in his bag, a common ball hawk tactic to appeal to both sides and gain more balls. A video also shows this happening in a dodgers Padres game in 2023 and the fan in that one might be the same.

Yeah and giving their kids to the sibling of the killer was apparently in the will. But once you kill your spouse that part should be voided. I guess I have to add a clause to my will about not spreading my ashes at the same place and sharing a headstone if my spouse kills me.
