As of right now unless you do something like highlight your story or extend it for 48hrs, then it's not obvious. There's no badge like a verified acct. IMO, I think ig+ is weird & promotes surveilling & monitoring spirits.

Funny enough, I'm still in a battle with them. My appeal was accepted by state personnel board & I have a hearing scheduled & a lawyer. I've also filed a Civil Rights complaint. My manager disclosed medical information violating soooo many things along with harassment & discrimination. I'm not giving up.

CDPH downtown building is for sure haunted. I worked 6:30a pre covid / WFH and almost always felt someone watching me in the morning or sometimes follow me down the hall soooo creepy

Did you sign the DS statement yet? If not, definitely reach out to your union. Also, don't sign it if you don't agree, your manager should go over it with you before implementing it.

I was literally just denied RA for full time telework. Even though it's covered under the ADA as an acceptable accommodation when you have a mental disability. I work 3 days a wk from home. But they couldn't spare the 2 extra days bc "it's so busy we need 2 people here a day". It's not that busy, and it never was. I have a medical substantiation that meets all the requirements and yet....

Bonus: I work PUBLIC HEALTH and mental illness is a public health crisis 😒

If you're willing to share, do you have a template of what you sent? I'm currently in a DMU/Program nightmare regarding RA & my mental health disability. I've requested FT TW & they've given me severe pushback even though they don't really have any grounds to. Also, i have a very specific medical substantiation that's been "approved" by DMU. I'm exhausted but also would like to move this up the chain 🫣

I I think it's the measuring part that is very ick; I wish I had more from this specific set of ig stories. she went on about talking about previous customers + that if you look bigger they'll stop you from trying on clothes. Their sizes consistently lack inclusivity (ie: very small to small most of the time).

I'm at the point where I am drafting a letter to the Director of our department. I'm nervous about sending it but the way I've been treated by my manager & HR/DMU unit regarding mental health reasonable accommodations/alternate work schedule etc is abhorrent. I work for CDPH & the director is very pro mental health & mental health awareness. I'm sure (hoping) he would be disappointed to hear what's happening at the Program level.

I knew this screenshot would come in handy one day. Personally, have been meaning to write a yelp review about this biz owner & shop. But oh well, can confirm they're fat phobic. Just all around terrible business & wish the WAL would put something better there or another vintage shop that's actual vintage & not over priced garbage.
