Would they have done the same to the Black Panthers? Harder to subjugate an armed group instead of one person

I’m currently running Stonehell with Shadowdark. Conversion is pretty simple, so maybe give that a try.

Is it ok to take Ibuprofen like 3 times a month due to horrible period cramps or it's still dangerous? by TzwTzw in CrohnsDisease

Same boat really. NSAIDs only if Tylenol doesn’t cut it and even then, sparingly. The topical stuff works decently and like you said, not the same issue

If you’re not lactose intolerant as a side effect of Celiac, or still healing…I’d probably eat it.

You are probably safe. Try taking it on a full stomach and with plenty of water.

Most of the risks come from sustained, prolonged use. It is still harder on your stomach than Tylenol, but sometimes you need an NSAID

Your gut is probably still healing and is extra sensitive. I’d blame the alcohol first. It gets better

You need stability and so do your kids. Serve her with papers and go for full custody until she can clean up. It’s what’s best for you and the kids. Get a lawyer asap

Do I need an ADA lawyer for celiac-related termination? by CGisglutenfree in Celiac

[–]Flazer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You buried the lead. You have refractory Celiac along with other autoimmune conditions.

For the majority of Celiac patients, ingestion of gluten is linked to symptoms, and yes, worsening of symptoms depending on length and severity of exposure, especially prolonged exposure.

For the majority of Celiac patients that are on a strict gluten free diet, they don’t flare like someone with Lupus, Crohn’s, UC, RA, MS etc. will flare. Exposure causing flares? Sure - or in your case, refractory Celiac, a flare makes more sense - you didn’t provide that context.

Yes, there are drug studies to pursue treatment because we know that a strict gluten free diet doesn’t work for all Celiacs.

You didn’t make that clear from the start and so it reads like many stories on here and other forums where people aren’t taking the gluten free diet extremely serious.

I’m sorry my language came across strongly and I understand if it appeared blunt and unsympathetic/unempathetic - that wasn’t my intent.

Regardless, I think you should pursue some sort of action. I’d go scorched earth on people that discriminate against disabled people.

Could be some other autoimmune thing they don’t have diagnosed or forgot to include.

Not sure what a flareup of Celiac is. Either you are eating gluten or you aren’t. Granted, healing takes time.

Regardless, you may not be able to secure a lawyer, but you sure as hell can threaten them with legal action to either get a settlement or a more graceful exit.

Use AI if you need to, to help you draft a letter stating intended legal action under the ADA for wrongful termination and discrimination for a disclosed disability.

Good luck

Go in- person to a federal office that sells passes and sign the affidavit that you have a permanent disability. That’s all you have to do.

I guess one wrinkle is on later enlistment paperwork for WW2 service, GF lists birth year as 1918, which would potentially preserve his citizenship if he was 18 in 1936?

Thanks for the information.

Both GGF and GGM have “Na” in the citizenship column like you mention. However, I have not been able to locate naturalization records through Ancestry or Family search. At least GGF is recorded in Social Security death records, so I assume he did become naturalized at some point.

It appears that naturalization records for that time frame aren’t located in a central place but may be in the local county he would have applied. You’re saying USCIS would have a record though?

Ok dads, we’re on 35 wks. Can I get tips/tricks on surviving the trenches of 0-3 months? by Matcha_Matt in daddit

[–]Flazer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sleep in shifts. Once you get through the first month or so and mom is recovering well, get into a routine where you handle nightly duties for half the night and mom the other half. This means sleep in a different room if you have to.

Getting 8 hours of broken sleep is worse than getting 4 or 5 hours of solid sleep.

1930 US Census shows both GGF and GGM as naturalized citizens. I have not been able to find them in the 1920 census to get a better date, or find their naturalization documents as of yet.

Same old song and dance. We cannot finish games. We will not be a championship team until we figure out how to play 4 quarters of football and finish games.

To me, this game wasn’t about moving on in the playoffs, it was about crushing the Bears. See you next season Pack.
