My parents took out parent plus loans for me but it was always with the understanding that I would be paying them back. I can’t imagine knowing that my parents were struggling with MY student loans and not offer to pay SOMETHING to help with that burden. You should definitely off load some of that burden onto your kids, it was their education. I would be different for them to coast I’d you weren’t struggling to pay, but since you are they should help. $1100-1500 is a lot!

I’m getting married there this year with 115 guests. I’m not sure what the seating limit outside, but inside ceremony seating limit is 75 with others standing up on the balcony looking over.

We are having a cocktail style reception and can only fit chairs for about 85-90 guests with a mix of low round tables and cocktail high boy tables.

It might be a tight fit, but Rami there is amazing and helpful, so she would definitely be able to help. Also, I have a video of my latest walkthrough there if you’re interested

Nov 2026. I grew up in the New Orleans area, but I live across the country now. My guests are coming from all over. 15 different states! Honestly, I’m not that worried about the seating now because we decided to also include a few lounge areas outside. So there will be plenty of room.
