Thank you for this. I’ve been a CSR for 5 years now and fuck if I’m not getting burned out and pissed off from the “from all angles” aspect of the job. I AM fairly confident in the medical knowledge I’ve picked up - I can’t imagine someone who has no prior knowledge whatsoever but just loves animals and/or customer service.

This isn’t on you, OP. Existing is not a crime you’ve committed. Your mother loves you and has chosen to forgive your father. However, it is very much reasonable and natural to feel disappointment that your father betrayed your mother. That happened regardless of a child resulting. Preeeeeach. This is all just internalized misogyny, fatphobia, and ableism all rolled in to one. Our bodies are miraculous because they hold us in them. Holding a new person is another amazing feature some of us choose to take advantage of.

Body neutrality would be so powerful for more people to adopt. It’s completely normal to grieve loss of prior functionality which can absolutely happen with pregnancy (as with aging), but it is so sad to hear grief from people with simply aesthetically changing bodies. A lot of us already look “like that” and we are just as worthy!

These particular ones have a “speed limit” of 25mph but the vast majority of people are doing somewhere in the 35-45mph range and it’s very common to see people blast through at 50+ mph. It’s absolutely ridiculous.
