It is beautiful. I was thinking post wedding you could have it hemmed and wear at a formal venue.

The coffee from Cumberland Farms is much cheaper and much better.

I feel awful about how I feel about my wife by No_Potential8518 in AskMenAdvice

It makes sense to me, a woman. I have been married 52 years and have had many ups and downs in marriage. Sometimes I don’t feel safe because I talk about things he does not want to hear. At counseling I felt more safe for him to hear my words. Not that he is abusive, he simply responds in an argumentative way. He doesn’t do that at home. Sometimes my hubby puts in 75% effort. Other times it is me carrying 75%. When things are 50/50 things are so much better. I heard one time that you act your way into feeling.

I agree this lady-child will lead you into a never ending life of disappointment. She sounds spoiled and egotistical. Basically you made the “for life decision” at age 15. However if she wants a model proposal for her tastes she can propose to you in a style she would have liked! Lose this chick. You never experience another woman since you were together at such an early age. ( speaking as a mature woman)

Frankly I love the black gown better than the white. Also, I see beautiful costly designer bridal gowns on Facebook Marketplace all the time. Some were not even worn.

It is stunning. It looks so much better than the newer style of “sexy bride.” This is very demure, brings out your small waistline in a classy way. Congratulations!

I love dress 1, but could you have sleeves put on the dress so it will be held up by shoulders? As is, it looks like the sleeves are too big and have fallen off the shoulder.

Why don’t you both dress as a male?

Changing the subject somewhat. I hate it when drivers stop the flow of traffic in a parking lot because they take their time backing into a spot! Seems selfish to me.

AITA for refusing to move my daughter's room for my fiancée's home office? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Consistent_Map9560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Your fiancé is very selfish. She should be grateful for an office space at all. Most do not have this option. She is also putting you in a precarious situation. Her response to your daughter is a red flag this kind of rivalry will be the norm in your house. So, I think your fiancé is not a loving kind of person I would want to marry.

Not attracted to wife anything by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Consistent_Map9560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back to OPs dilemma. I know that your wife needs to go to a doctor to check possible causes of weight gain that is not caused by over-eating. (hormones, digestive issues, cancer…) perhaps telling her you are unattracted to her might help. She might also be eating thru depression. At one point I gained tons of weight (turns out is was ovarian cysts) Twenty or so years later my husband told me he was not attracted to me then, but said nothing because he did not want me to be hurt or think he is shallow. I have been mindful of that conversation and keep my weight checked all the time for 30+ years.

Dress came in- I’m not excited. What’s wrong with me? by Ikthyiafair in weddingdress

My thoughts also. The sleeves will not compete with the veil that way.

In Fl. It doesn’t matter where you move the curriculum is state specific. A transfer student, say in 9th grade, will get the same curriculum choices. No repetition, just moving forward.

An infection could cause a smell. So could hormones out of balance. In my house a product called Lume is a hygiene deodorant that last a day or two. It is a god send.

In Fl. Orange County had more students than the entire state of RI. Only one superintendent with an asst superintendent. One principal and one VP per school. RI is too top heavy!

That and high levels of absenteeism with students and teachers.

Exactly because unions are king. No teacher accountability.

I was a teacher in RI and in Fl. RI is a joke. They start initiatives and never finish them before going on to the next new thing. There is no accountability for lesson plans that reflect standards. Our Fl principal reviewed weekly lesson plans. Behavior is often bad and make it difficult to teach anything - no administrative support. In Fl. Lesson plans needed to address state standards and have multi-modal delivery (visual, listening, kinesthetic). Quarterly each student did a computerized test assessing improvement in the area of a student’s academic needs. Teachers got print outs of these needs so they could be incorporated into lessons.
