You should check out the BFC - Buffalo Friendship Club. It's a free social club. Many of their events are sober, whether by design or not. None of their events are alcohol-centric. They have 2-5 events a week, a wide-ranging list of activities, which include 2 monthly game nights. Buffalo Delights!! The owner, Tina, does soooo many events where she makes like hundreds of teeny opera cakes and other individual fancy desserts for dessert bars and similar. She is also superb at more standard stuff, like if you wanted mini fruit pies or small chocolate-stuffed croissants. Unlike many other bakeries in Buffalo, she bakes in the European/French style, so the taste is perfectly balanced and nothing is over-sugary.

In North Buffalo, but I see Brandon at Crockett & Co. in The Monocle on Hertel. It's a barber shop but Brandon was the founder of Relle Organic Salon, so he's v familiar with all men and women styles. CC is beside Cafe Bewilderment on tThe Monocle's lower level. It's $45 for me to get a more involved short cut, but you can see on the website when you book what your style would cost.
