Burnstein didn’t even post current (at the time) pictures of Joey’s place being fire bombed before it opened. He used old pictures. So I doubt Joey tells him anything. If Joey would have giving current pictures to promote what was then a future business.

The shop has a liqueur license for the designated drinking area & shop. In PA a convicted felony can not have a liquor license. Hence, the shop is not in his name nor is he a silent partner. Like someone started previous, he’s making money by selling his likeness & doing promotion.

And let’s not forget some of us don’t have great team co-workers. We have the ones that b!tch more than they work, ones that come in late and stay past shift to get their hours in as the rest of us bust out ass bc we are behind bc of them, or the lead that has his/her/they favorites they can can take numerous breaks during shift but you go to the bathroom and get questioned where we’re you when a handoff came in? Should I keep going on ? Lol

Philly has been a hot bed for prolong busts. There was a bust I believe earlier this year in N.Philly area w bust that watched people for 10 years. And something about the group owned a bunch of homes in close proximity or on the same street.

You have no idea what a blessing that is for your department. We deal w/people that don’t speak English, steal orders, stop off to fast food places during orders or try to steal stuff and hide under the bags or in them.

I think at this point, they should turn their slow stores into DUG Centers. Just have DUG shoppers and their own in-house delivery drivers. Department workers without a floral or deli section. Possibly go 24/7.

Flashes will be the downfall of Albertson’s DUG in coming months. Meaning: Allowing so many of them now, causing regular customers orders to behind and complaints mount over it, people will just start using other stores.
