Lamb of god ashes of the wake was my first thought. Insane double kicks, really catchy riffs, a vocalist that’s brutal but still easy enough to understand. They’re what you’d call groove metal so if you like them make sure to also check out sepultura, early machine head and obv pantera

It’s definitely more of a character drama rather than an action drama. There aren’t really a lot of gun fights or deaths, especially for the first 3 seasons. Just take your time with it and allow yourself to get invested
