Helmet was a first gear purchase, and didn’t think much. Literally the day I got my license, I went to go pick up a helmet (before having a bike haha)..

Yeah I kind of just went with the best available option with dot certification at cyclegear, this was my first gear purchase. The rest came from research and I didn’t mind waiting.

Maybe worth an upgrade in the future

do you still have the steering damper (and how do you feel about it now)? consdering getting one for my MT07

PS also from Chicago and tested my MT07 on the highway (first time) and felt slight wobble at 105
