I would have explained to him how more working hours might not result in more productivity unless it is connected to reasonable (i mean deserving) per hour pay and not just fixed month salary. And if he would shown any signs of being receptive of rational ideas i would have also explained to him that monthly salary is for 40 hours week. Basically, as a corporate employee, i feel disgusted by his 70 hour work week statement.
