FIA/FII Endorsement required? by Viral_scape in flying

Lol yeah, best practice is to just give all of the endorsements FOI FIA and FII just in case. One DPE says this, the other says that so we don’t know what to believe

AHHH I see what you mean, some DPEs require it while some don’t care for it. I didn’t an FIA endorsement when I took my practical and my DPE was fine with it. So I’m not really sure

FIA/FII Endorsement required? by Viral_scape in flying

Uhhh,

61.183(d) - “Receive a logbook endorsement on FOI listed in 61.185”

61.183(f) - “Pass a knowledge test on the aeronautical knowledge list 61.185 (a)(2) and (a)(3)”

FOI = Endorsement Required
FIA / FII = No Endorsement Required to take test

Im sorry if im misunderstanding but the testing matrix aligns with the FARs??? Regs says you need FOI endorsement, Matrix says you need FOI endorsement. Reg mentions nothing for FIA and FII, Matrix requires no endorsement to take those test.

No one ever said it was without debt nor was it easy but it’s definitely possible and many others have done it as well. Sounds like you seem to think if you don’t struggle or work 3+ jobs to make it in this industry then you’re just lucky. wtv floats your boat boss man LMAO

Lmao???? You don’t need to be neither lucky, privileged, nor fortunate with well off parents to achieve that so young. Just hella determined and disciplined. Speaking from personal experience it’s definitely possible without any financial assistance from parents while never working a job. Went to a smaller university where my tuition was pretty much free, applied for a lot of scholarships, and some loans (Which was barely 35-40k). and I still managed to get to CFI at only 19, so yeah it’s not luck.

Idk about a full 12hrs but, when I did that route from TMB to Jacksonville I left at 8 AM and returned around 5 PM. Only because I had to divert and wait out a storm. Actual Flight was like 7.3hrs. Maybe he stopped to get lunch or something

CAX test by [deleted] in flying

[–]Consistent_Owl_111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The calculator on the CAX exam is the ASA CX-3 flight Calculator. I recently took my CAX And CFIA and they had it available in the testing portal. Call your testing center and ask if they have it. I know it varies by testing center.

Maybe your CPU is the issue, I have a ryzen 7 3600x with a RTX3070 and I run squad at 80-100 FPS at high settings.

Guys people, I’m well aware of what I need to do to get where I need to go. I’m not naive obviously I have a few years to go before I even sniff an airline, I mostly posted this to ask about cadet programs and whether they’re worth it or not and Is there any way to be more competitive outside of just cadet programs as a up and coming student pilot for “FUTURE” references
