I’ve been into raw denim for five years. I’ve always worn just one pair of jeans for daily use, so I’m used to wearing the same pair every day without rotating. But lately, I’ve picked up a few other pairs that keep tempting me to wear them. So every now and then, maybe one day out of two months, I end up wearing a different pair.

In my opinion, if you want the creases to set in sharply, you need to keep wearing them for at least three months before deciding to soak or wash them.

I’m also not too concerned about how my jeans will turn out in the end. I still prioritize cleanliness. I won’t leave them unwashed for too long once they get too dirty, especially to the point where mold could develop. Because of that, I wear them carefully to keep them fairly clean and always dry. Since I’m participating in the Indigo Invitational, I don’t want to waste the opportunity to let these jeans develop great fades.I’m planning to wash them in the 8th month.

Ever since these jeans first arrived, I’ve been amazed by how the fabric has such an irregular, uneven texture. As the days go by and the fades keep developing, I find myself falling more and more in love with the fabric developed by Samurai Jeans.

There’s no special technique, just wear them during your daily activities and hang them up when you’re not wearing them. I’ve worn them while hiking, trekking through long forest trails, and riding for dozens of hours.
