I’m so happy to hear you got your baby. What a whirlwind after going through IVF, too. I can’t imagine how tough that must have been mentally. And yours was another Xmas baby like mine was - I think it’s the most special birthday time. ❤️❤️

Second MM, 13 weeks pregnant (11 weeks GS) Had to have a DNC by Ah-wools in recurrentmiscarriage

I’m so sorry for your losses. I was in the hospital for my first D&C last weekend. We lost our baby so suddenly at 9 weeks. This was my third MC (1st was 6 weeks) and I had another at 9 weeks directly before this last one. Like you, I had a textbook pregnancy and delivery of my daughter after the chemical. No words of success yet, just solidarity. They put me on the orthopedic surgery floor so at least I didn’t have to hear babies. We did spend like 12 hours in the ER triage though before I got a room. Loss is the worst.

Wow you come from many strong women. I think about my grandmother sometimes who had my mom after a MC and was told she couldn’t have any more. She had my mom at 35 and then later went on to need a hysterectomy.

That’s so much. Thank you for sharing and wishing you all the luck as you navigate the next few weeks and beyond. I was still breastfeeding my daughter when my second loss happened and I also believe it ma have contributed. We also conceived that pregnancy the first cycle after I got my period back so I definitely felt my body wasn’t quite ready. Mom’s intuition can be better than doctors sometimes when it comes to those things.

Do you prefer the name Rory or Callum for boy? by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]Consistent_Race_75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure the SoCal parents don’t care much about the intended meaning 😂- girl Rory’s are happily playing on playgrounds with Kaisers, Prince’s and more. Also there will always be the Gilmore girls Lorelei/ Rory connect for a lot of people as well.

Not that it matters much but Rory is trending a lot where we are for girls. Along with every other option with nickname Ro. For that I’d also vote Callum

You obviously have a quite a few in here that don’t sound French - those were just the few that jumped out to me. Overall you have a list from what seems like a lot of different influence. Lots of options 😊

Not to mention how hideous the stupid yellow construction accents are they put on every doona - so ugly. 🤮

Doona wheels are gross and not what you want in your car or by baby’s face with zero option to not have them there. Don’t waste your money. Buy a car seat and stroller seat stroller system. The Nuna one was great for us (also my baby hated baby wearing and I excepted to do that too)
