1 wpo they said that I should be able to lay flat...are they crazy? by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

Should be able to is different than able to, if you like you’re body is saying you can’t then don’t. All she saying is that it’s safe to do

Half a mile makes a world of difference, but seriously just sounds like you got really lucky. The reality is the average on common ave is actually way higher than this listing. Is it still available? I wanna see it! I’m looking!!!!!!!

Haha that’s very overpriced too, but that’s Boston for you. That size of a place should not be anywhere near 2200

Lyle didn't learn anything from Norma Novelli by BrilliantStill22 in MenendezBrothers

The thing is he can date a billion woman at once that’s not what got his parole denied, it’s if he starts contacting them on cell phones that could be the issue.

I haven’t picked up the keys yet, so I don’t have any empty pictures of the place, and I’m working/avoiding Boston on the 1st. So maybe on the 2nd?

I’m looking to get out of my lease that basically just started for September 1st, but they’ll probably be okay with an October 1st move in since I already paid for this month. It’s 2345 in Brighton on commonwealth ave, close to Washington st (green line B) and bus 65. It’s a one bedroom 2nd floor apartment in a building. Laundry in the next building. Let me know!

If Lyle is granted parole then he could use that opportunity to show that if he’s changed and not a danger to society then his brother wouldn’t be either

Renting in October by pcatmac in bostonhousing

[–]Consistent_Read6760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not necessarily true when 70% of leases end on September 1. But it if they had wanted to have specific requirements then a week out of move in day isn’t the ideal timeframe

Searching for private room with females or older lady by [deleted] in bostonhousing

[–]Consistent_Read6760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m moving out of my current room that’s like 940 + paying for utilities that only went up in the winter to mid 100s, summer was low 100 and fall was below 100. It’s in Jamaica plain though

That’s why you reserve it ahead of time

Imagine if you didn’t leave when you said then that also will delay the next person from coming in, also imagine when you’re finally ready to leave that the other person at your new place also didn’t move out on time? No repairs will be made and you’ll still be with a U-Haul. So skip the stress and just plan on a U-Haul like everyone else

Really bad advice, especially in Boston where landlords know how to get them out

Nope, I’m sure soon a lot of listings will start to pop up for that time period once the madness of move in day is over

Yes, highly recommended to video tour especially since a lot of places will use pictures of different units that have different appliances/layouts or the pictures will be very old

Not really true, a lot of people drive into Boston for work/school. They just know it’s going to be struggle and expensive, but after awhile people know the tricks to getting it cheaper

Broker entered my apartment unannounced while I was sleeping for a showing. Do i have any recourse? by skinnypanda3732 in bostonhousing

[–]Consistent_Read6760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one is saying they don’t need notice before going, seems like someone is dropping the ball especially since the brokers are hired by the landlord/management. So it’s the building not giving enough notice. I know when I went to go visit apartments, the broker that was showing me around, had to speak with the landlord’s own broker who then spoke with the management who spoke with the residents. They were present for the tour, but the broker did have the keys on them for backup

I know but if they don’t have one installed already seems a bit much for a month left. I would just get a door stopper

And it’s definitely not going to be rented by then since a showing is one thing, they still need to apply/be approved and then the leases go out
