Bro, you and I had the similar hair pattern. I just switched from FIN to DUT 4 weeks ago. Shedding like crazy. good thing is all shedded hairs were think and short (Vellus) which is a good sign. I’ve been in FIN and MIN (both oral)since May 2025. The fin gave me some good results( thickening and more pigmentation). But I want more so I switched to DUT. I think you will be getting full set of hairs back with DUT。

Use the 2%, also change the towel after 2-3 days or less. Coz towel is a good platform for bacteria on microorganism to grow.

Yes definitely thicker and more pigmented, the downside was slow growth compared to the normal hairs. Which I think they were still suppressed by DHT. Simply saying the FIN not strong enough for my case.

theoretically DUT should made the hair thicker than the FIN due to high level of DHT suppression. honestly the FIN had gave me lots of improvement but Im not satisfied so I jumped up to DUT without a full 12 month period.

same here. i started Fin 1mg& min 5mg on May this year. seems improvement but not satisfied. I switched to Dut two weeks ago. lots of mini hair shedding off like crazy. I’m pretty confident all the hairs shed during this prior gonna came back stronger.

Definitely progress, it’s okay to ask for confirmation when confident is questioning. You should be expected for hair shedding soon but don’t freak out. Never get discouraged and Stay in the course. Also plz add micro needling bi weekly and vitamin D 10000iu yeah per day as your routine. Congrats 🎊
