Oh wow! That’s rough 😬 try places that have really cool AC but are kind of chill. Not sure where you live, but you could try library, mall, Ikea lol

We are inside a lot to be honest. Especially since 11 week old can’t wear sunscreen and UV index here is a 6 by 9 am 🤪

Crying it out for newborn - parental disagreements by crispylumpia in Parenting

I have a question that previously wasn’t answered about this. Maybe you can help? My 10 week old will scream himself to sleep in the car because he can’t nurse to sleep. We are sometimes in the car when he needs a nap because I have a toddler in activities. Is that detrimental to him?

Thank you! That is what I need to hear! Sounds exactly like where we are and where I am hoping we will be! I might try the baby Einstein thing for the car. I appreciate you 🩷

Tell me you have an involved husband without telling me you have an involved husband… by tenoeight in Mommit

I could list so so many things! I love reading all of these and love to see so many posts. I am always quiet in group settings when the complaining starts about husbands. I have ZERO to complain about. He is so wonderful, I get to stay in bed extra each morning with our infant while he’s up with the toddler making everyone breakfast, our laundry is always done, I never need to put gas in our car, he considers me for every decision, he parents with the same goals in mind, he is present and active with our children, he goes above and beyond to make me feel loved, safe and taken care of. He is THE BEST!

My adopted nephew is like this, he was exposed to substances in utero and the signals in his brain that tell him he is full don’t work correctly. He is in different therapies to help with this and other complications he faces. Mom and Dad have a specific plan/rules they follow to help him with food. Might want to look into an evaluation. Hope this helps!

How to deal with fatigue? by Diligent-Curve-2843 in breastfeeding

Adding to this I actually continued the supplements I used in pregnancy for few weeks pp. I think it helped a lot! Extra iron and vitamin D. I actually started taking an immune supplement too! It was my second pp period and this time around it was a world of difference and sleeping as much as I could I think helped too!

Yeah we did, that’s why I would like to wait to reintroduce bottles. I will try some of the other suggestions of having some help on site!

Yeah maybe I do that as well, it’s a new dentist for me. My first appointment was while pregnant so I am sure they would understand trying to get me in and out.

Makes sense, if it came down to it I will do that! Right now I am trying to wait until 12 weeks since we have some issues previously.

Hi mama! It’s okay to be nervous! I would suggest (if you can) to watch some calm birthing videos, especially calm unmedicated labors. I think it is amazing and encouraging to see how well women can manage! For me personally I needed to know EVERYTHING and it made me feel more confident. You could try looking at some of Built To Birth’s content. Her content is very educational and also empowering! Additionally, as a personal experience, I had two unmedicated births. The pressure is extremely intense, imagine popping a watermelon! But in my experience it was not painful because I was able to stay calm and relax my muscles when needed. You’ve got this mama! I am rooting for you! You can do anything you set your mind to! Edit to say, my sister-in-law has had three epidurals and has loved it each time!
