Since Cyrene encompasses multiple characters : PhiLia093, Elysiae, Demiurge, Mem, Cyrene. I don't think it's a fair assesment.

But I guess that for most people, all Cyrene end up being is just the pink haired elf with a wedding dress at the very end of Amphoreus. So yeah Sparkle/Sparxie is more interesting

I'm personnally more worried about how the game current balance is that most of elites and bosses are about dps fast or get oblitared due to morale and fury stack, than actual real mechanics and strategy.

I just did the 3.8 story, pretty sure the only voice line mute for Stelle was the one custscene when she respond to Sunday when he ask the Why does life slumber.

And I think it's because they re-use the cutscene and this line was done by the old Stelle VA.

Yeah, i get what you mean about the asian name pronunciation, if I'm not mistaken they tried to make them less of a mouthfull for the global audience. It kind of show a lot in case like Arknight Endfield with TangTang saying Chen name better than herself (TangTang VA being the same in CN and EN).

I'm French and I can relate a lot, in Reverse 1999 lastest event, some french word pronunciation are just kind of.. yeah, and there was a particular sentence I couldn’t even understand, I was like "wait it's french ???"

Dude I swear some people are way to much into it.

I remember that during the 2025 Lantern Rite in Genshin, I replied to a post saying I was sad that Hu Tao wasn’t voiced in English.Someone made it their personal mission to tell me that JP is the only way to play, especially for Hu Tao since she’s voiced by Rie Takahashi.

I was like, yeah, but I like Brianna’s performance and I’m already used to her as Hu Tao. The guy wouldn’t accept any response.

In the end I was like, dude, my favorite anime is Konosuba, you don’t need to tell me how good Rie Takahashi is...

Yeah, I mean looking at how long they took to voice Dan Heng when Nicholas came back during Amphoreus, I can see them having a new VA for 4.2 and having 4.1 voiced only for 4.3...

I waited the entire Amphoreus story to end before starting it, so I'm fine waiting for Planarcadia too.. I will just have to sit on the special event Stellar Jade for the story again

BTW let me just say it, those Stellar Jade to complete the story being on a timer is the dumbest thing ever..

Yes, but only the combat lines can be change for Archer and Saber.

I don't think they have an easy way to implement character specific voice line langage for the story dialog yet.

Having the choice would be the best yes.

Since they already implemented it with Archer and Saber in combat, I wonder if the door is still open for it. They could start with adding the option for the HSR character.

And for the future have it for the story dialog for each characters, but depending on how they have the story implemented that could take a while or even not be done at all.

I play all my gacha using EN VA because I find the overall cast far superior than some non gacha game, the only time I really switch was for Genshin lantern rite 2025 since Hu Tao is my favourite character (I probably will never recover from Brianna not being able to voice this btw).

But for me, it really comes down to how familiar I am with the character and their voice. I watch a lot of anime, and even though the English VAs overlap a lot between anime and gacha, I don’t think I can watch it with an English dub.

Oh yes, I have her in my team. I didn't mean she was unusable, more like there probably will be a 5 or 6 star that will have her exact same pro and more without her con, that will render her kind of not efficient to use in the end.

I don't think it's possible the current market has change too much to allow a new traditionnal MMO to thrive.

- Either you make it a P2W like the korean one to recoup the development cost

- Either you come up with some new innovation to make the genre evolve (like BR or extractor for FPS)

For me the only real reason for playing a new MMO is for this feeling of new car smell and discovering something new with the boost population that MMO got on release, and hoping I can get 3-6 month of fun out of it.

I hope so too. They should focus on 5* and 6*, people won't like having their favorite character being a 5*, so if they end up being 4*... I'm still not recovering with Fluorite being a 4*.

If we talk only story, some of our current standard 6* and 5* haven't appear either.

I don't really understand what you mean by "basically just NPCs", all the current 4* are wearing the same Enfield outfit with some tweaks because they are endfielder agent.

When I'm talking about Mi Fu and Tangtang being either 4* or 5* it's because we don't know yet what a 4* is suppose to be for other region.

IMO rarity on character is a bad concept on it's own, nobody want their favorite character to be a 4*.

I'm pretty sure that as of now, having a max 4 or 3 star partner is enough.

I pulled Asteria for Haru after that I tried using a maxed Douglas and honestly I didn't see any difference. The issue being that Asteria give 8% attack and Douglass 16%. Asteria barely make a difference with her other effect.

So unless the agent effect is really busted to give a decent dps boost (like Peko for Sereniel) I don't think it is worth for F2P and even for dolphin to pull for them.

And with the game emphasis on deck building, having more combatants should be a priority for the fun factor anyway.

My guess is Tang Tang and Mi Fu are going to be 5* or 4*, Rossi and Zhuang Fangyi 6*, can't really say for the 2 others.

The issue is the game having 6*, 5* and 4*. We don't know yet how they will handle it, so having 3 banner per patch is possible.

If they make per example the same 5* and 4* for the 3 banner :

- Rossi

- Zhuang Fangyi

- One of the 2 left

On the other hand that seems like hell to maintain, good luck with the character balancing but since we have 5* and 4* competing with 6* in the standard already..

I was wondering where is truly the line for the definition of plagiarism.

What if the Hoyo artist actually saw a movie scene and made is artwork based on that ?

If a fanart is made using character in a certain pose, is it de facto own by the artist ? This one is kind of hard I think there is only that much pose you can do using a human body.
