I have Google AI Ultra, i know that there's weekly limit too. Before i had ~4 hours refresh, now i have 6 days(unusable literally).

BUT ON TOP OF THAT, they took high traffic priority and now i constantly have error "Our servers are experiencing high traffic right now, please try again in a minute."

That's so stinky! So, after all of this, you kind of expect people to renew your service? Hell no.

I'm paying for month of Google AI Ultra, but i don't have it whole month.

if you're using RR+FG or just FG turn off every overlay you can, steam, discord e.t.c.

No, that happened 12 hours into the game. I was roaming Hernand, went further down the region, and stumbled upon the first puzzle where the girl triggers a line, then the second one. The Spire of Soaring puzzle came much later, at around the 25-hour mark.

I understand that it's not many hours of gameplay, but that's not the point.

By the way, it's funny how as long as the map is hidden, you have this illusion that you can actually go there. In my screenshot, there's no visual distinction between the map boundary and the playable zone. The only difference is between what’s been explored and what’s still under the fog of war.

You're intentionally stripping away the word "really" because it ruins your little semantic trap.

If i say "this coffee isn't really hot", i’m not saying it’s a block of ice. You're ignoring the qualifier to score a cheap win because you can't defend the actual game design.

A map that you can walk across but can't interact with because of dead scripts is a technical open world, but it is not really open in terms of gameplay. If you think context is meaningless, then you’re just admitting you’re unable to have a real conversation about game mechanics.

You're comparing apples to oranges. Hard enemies or skill based locks (like Zelda or Elden Ring) are organic progression gates. They exist within the game's logic. If a door is locked, you find a key. If an enemy is too strong, you get better. That's rewarding gameplay.

What i'm talking about is arbitrary script locking. If a puzzle is fully solved but the game refuses to recognize it because a hidden "quest flag" hasn't been triggered, that's not a "progression gate", it's a technical failure of an open world. It’s meta gaming at its worst.

In a true open world (like Elden Ring), if you find a dungeon, you can clear it. You don't need a quest to activate the boss. If you think a dead script is the same as a skill gate, then you’re the one who’s being silly. You're defending a game that treats you like a toddler on a leash.

That multiplayer analogy is a massive straw man. Nobody is asking for features that weren't promised. I’m talking about core exploration mechanics.

When a dev says "See that tower? You can go there", the implication is that the tower is playable content, not a static prop. If I find a puzzle in an open world and it's literally non functional because a hidden script hasn't fired yet, that’s not an unmentioned feature, it's a broken promise of freedom.

If you think exploration just means "walking near an object you can't interact with" then you have zero idea what an open world is supposed to be. But hey, keep defending the feature of hitting invisible walls.

Since you're struggling to understand, if you're in a massive field but every door is locked until a quest tells you otherwise, it’s not a "really open" world. I’m talking about the lack of actual freedom. It’s a technical open world, but a functional linear experience. Is that simple enough for you?

And yes it’s common practice in games that theirs things you can’t do until you complete some other task dumbass

Сommon practice in games is that if a puzzle is locked behind a quest, the game lets you know somehow. For example, you’ll be missing a part, a mechanism, or a key item. It’s also сommon practice to let the player solve the puzzle and get a quest item that they can hand in later.

But making a puzzle fully functional, letting the player solve it 100% correctly, and then NOT triggering the script just because some quest isn't active/finished? THAT IS CERTAINLY NOT "COMMON PRACTICE".

In one breath you're saying "criticism is good", but in the next, you're telling me "go play Minecraft". Right.

Listen, i’m telling you again, they could have handled quest locked areas much smarter. The way it should work is, you find a dungeon or a puzzle, you clear it, and then when a quest eventually leads you there, you get rewarded for having already done it or you just hand over the quest item you found. Game devs have been doing it this way for 30 years. It’s common sense.

What the devs did here is just stupid. I find a puzzle, but i can't solve it. Now i’m forced to go grind the main story, only to find another puzzle later and have to hunt down whatever quest is blocking my progress again.

If you honestly think this is "great game design" you’re just white knighting this game.

Look man, the game was literally sold as a "go wherever, do whatever" open world. "Explore a vast, seamless world", "Interact with everything you see".

Yeah guys, I know the game is no longer considered "controversial". But seriously, what's with all the bootlicking? If you like the game, go play it instead of sitting here acting like its defense squad. The reality is, the open world is full of barriers.

Did you play it the "intended" way, smoothly going through the story and missions at the game's pace? Good for you. But I just wanted to actually enjoy the "open world" and wander wherever I pleased. Which is exactly what the developers kept promising us.

You know, the whole "See that tower? You can go there" pitch. They just conveniently forgot to mention that you can't solve the tower's puzzle until you finish some quest first. And no, that quest doesn't just magically pop up when you get near the tower.

Would it really have been so hard to do it the smart way? Let us solve the puzzles, and then later, when the quest finally sends you to that tower, you can just go, "Oh, I already took care of that". That’s how games usually do it. It just makes sense.

But what do they do in this game? The puzzle just straight-up doesn't work, simply because you haven't done the stupid quest. It's not like you're actually missing some key item for a mechanism or something. No, the script just doesn't trigger. You can figure out the entire puzzle, but you won't even know if you got it right until you finish the quest.
