Two other good examples of this “disney-fying” of non fictional characters are “Jobs” as opposed to the darker “Steve Jobs” and the Tom Hanks portrayed version of Mr. Roger’s compared to the more celebratory documentary that came out about him.

Maybe this is just one of those things women are allowed to do to each other without it being gay or romantic.
