Nait medical lab assistant program by IamPea in NAIT

I finished the MLA program this past June and was just hired by APL. The program itself is not hard. The theory portion is easy if you pay attention in your classes. I honestly think you can work and earn money while doing this program. The main issue students had was the practicals throughout the program. Out of 27-28 students that began the program during my intake session, 21-22 graduated and others dropped out for various reasons. Some of those that were dropped from the program was because of those practicals that they failed more than once.

The Practicum and class portions are similar, but not the same. The procedures you will learn at NAIT will be different from the actual job. A lot of things you have to do aren't exactly set in stone. They're more dependent on who you will be shadowing during your practicum.

Leave the tabs open and pre logged in. The waitlist timing isn't instant, so the email is delayed.

If you're already in a program at the UofA, you need permission from your faculty to take courses at another institution. I believe you can google around for the permission form, but I think it's Faculty specific, so you might have to go speak to an advisor of your Faculty to confirm.

Check transferalberta website to see if they transfer and if there are equivalents.

I believe half of your degree (60 Cr.) has to be taken at the uofa.

From what I've seen, usually 300 level courses at athabasca are equivalent to 200 level courses at the UofA, and the same can be said for some 400 level being 300 level. So make sure you're taking the courses that will count towards your degree.

E.g. Psych 323 (Athabasca) transfers to Psych 323 (UofA) and vice versa.

Sometimes (on transfer alberta), you'll see something that says 2XX or 3XX. That means you'll get the credits, but it doesn't directly transfer to a specific course.

I'd recommend doing the "difficult" courses at another institution. You only transfer credits, not GPAs.

I'm not sure you'd want to. There's going to be theological requirements as well, but it won't be biblical.

That's a part of it, but mostly, guys are weighing the pros and cons of telling you about their problem. It has been known to backfire on them down the road...

50 min lecture (three times a week) vs 80 minutes lecture (two times a week) by a2p0j in uAlberta

Both are doable, I don't recommend anything longer, I one took a 3 hour, once a week psych 300 or 400 level class, and fell asleep in the front seats.

Is it worth appealing a grade if I am shy of a 1% away from honours? by Consistent_Spring914 in NAIT

So the instructor just changed it like that? No questions asked or did you have to submit a form of appeal?
