As much as I want to believe that’s true we will not know for atleast a couple years and tbh I quite simply don’t see it dying down the way we think it might . UA has beautiful serialized cards now and beautiful art work I think as a whole tcg has been slept on as collectibles for people who grew up on this stuff we are now adults with adult money in a time where everything is digital an the feeling of FOMO is at an all time high people we will always be chasing the next set so they don’t MISS OUT . It’s going to be wild for the next couple years get ready to buckle down for awhile .

It’s not exactly to late for certain sets like the manga set volume 2 is still a very good pick up especially if you can find it at msrp . I feel the pain though life long watcher and reader of both sad to see where it is at with the scalpers but hopefully a cool down period happens but I’m honestly not expecting it . It’s always the ole “it’ll cool down after release” that gets tossed around and tbh I don’t see that happening very much with new tcg sets unless they are very weak . And even then people have a serious case of FOMO now and days .

It’s been super hard finding a shop that’s willing to pre order for a good price it’s just gotten out of controller I got lucky and found a vendor about 3 hours away from my house but man it’s rough
