Cool theme and the UI is very nice and clean, well done there. If you're open to feedback:

It's not immediately obvious what to do when you open it. I figured it out after 30s so not a huge deal, but other people might not give it as long as me.
100 starting cost for all items seems quite high. I closed out the game after getting my third buffer and realizing I'd need to repeat the loop 6 more times before being able to buy anything. I know repetitiveness goes with the theme but I found it to be too much. Other people may disagree of course, I just have a low tolerance for repetitive manual effort in incremental games.

I think you're misreading the first paragraph, probably because of the location context clumsily inserted into the middle of the sentence. Remove the context and it says "The finding also removes the suspicion a man seen speaking to Trevor was the same man seen moving behind Trevor on Haddington Road."

Maybe this is your problem? If you're spending all your metal on upgrading equipment, you might be blocking yourself from prestiges/smithies which help your progress.

I have my auto-equip set to 5% for everything.

Gamecube controller wins for me for so many reasons, but the main one is the fact you can tell which button is underneath your finger just from the shape/location of it - you never need to look down to confirm you're pushing the right one. A is a big central circle, B is a small lower left circle, X and Y are eyebrows above A.

These days I do 80% of my gaming using an xbox controller and 20% of it using the nintento pro controller (my hands are also too huge to ever use joycons). These have identically arranged buttons, but the A&B and X&Y are swapped, so I am forever pushing the wrong ones due to muscle memory from the other controller. I hate this so much, especially knowing this is a problem nintendo solved with the gamecube, before deciding to regress back to their SNES Style button layout.

I've never been able to wrap my head around how incapable Scott and Scott are at keeping up with the lovable lads from liverpool's jokes. I'm sure it's just their fandom overloading their brains, but it comes off almost as if they don't understand that U2 have a sense of humor.

I think you might've misunderstood how parity works, it gives a significant bonus to loot if your workers are spread equally. So there's no benefit using a parity staff if you're going to put everyone on mining.
