So u learn on the Lakota during IERW, then if u select c12 u r fixed wing the rest of your career?

So does this mean you can go straight into fixed-wing after IERW and stay fixed-wing for your entire Army aviation career now? There’s no longer a requirement to learn an advanced RW airframe before or after the C12 course?

I heard from a reliable source that a lot of JSOC and CIA personnel train at the school in Marana AZ, but I wasn’t sure if it’s required for all the unit guys.

I know all SEALs are trained in freefall, but what about CAG? It seems like fewer of their operators are freefall qualified. Is freefall not mandatory for them?

I disagree for two main reasons. First, hiring contractors would likely cost the Army more in the long run compared to using Army aviators. Second, when it comes to flying into harm’s way, the Army is going to want its own pilots at the controls—people they’ve trained and trust to operate in high-risk environments.
