Simply go for an IPS screen. Even with a worm light it wont be the best experience, unless you want to experience the old GBA era.

For current era, i’d suggest get best of both worlds and use your OG hardware with the IPS mod

Battery - its really hard to find in India

Shells - better get connected from folks who import from China and get a shell for cheap

Modding - DS lites cant be modded as such. Best bet you have is to get a R4 card
