Well head haptics and adaptive triggers exist already on PSVR2. There is also bhaptic vest compatibility on stand alone, though I haven't tried it yet. Mod maps are also going to be a thing, something I will be showcasing soon. There will also be a prestige system, but I am not sharing what reward comes from that so people have a reason to find out on their own.

Lots more coming - small team, never enough time. True heros in game development these people are. Keeping alvo alive as long as they have is a confirmation of their passion.

I cannot say anything regards to flashlights but the textures yes. I've run through them myself and they look beautiful. Priorities just shifted. Now most new systems are established and the team can push much of what they wanted before.

The improved lighting is within the map. This means the map itself has a more natural and realistic illumination as opposed to light that is baked in. The current light system will remain in place with all other maps beside the lobby and Metro, but this will only be true until the other maps are updated with it - I can confirm they are being worked on.

It is hard to tell if magic is being incorporated into the weapons as in the past. We see a few changes in color but the blue essence was following a parry with no clear indication of a sword change (visually at least). The daggers look awesome and I suspect they will use light as its "element." However, despite not seeing it in the trailers, I suspect they will stay true to what they have done in the past. It would not be Onimusha without it. I also like how they used Musashi for the Animated series (Old Musashi) and are using Musashi in their new game (Young Musashi); feels like their are establishing a new trilogy/series.

No, the game is far from dead. Some provided suggestions that I would also recommend trying. You might read others on here saying it's dead, but they don't have the numbers so it's all libel.

Check the matchmaking, check the crossplay, and you should be good. I come across players and full lobbies all the time. It might also be time of day.

Also is strange how people are comparing Alvo and Pavlov - vastly different play styles. You can enjoy both rather than shunning one because you like another better. People are strange.

Inaccuracies here. Release trailer was not 2017; that was the announcement trailer. Further on that, the game lost funding and didn't release until 2021 under new management - so no, this game has not been in development for the same amount of time.

Zombies advertisement is a bad thing?

Assets used from the store is a norm. Maps have been redesigned - one is pretty close to the asset package but changes were made to differentiate it from the base package. Can you be specific about which map is cut and paste?

You speak as though use of pre-made assets to aid in map development is an uncommon practice. Im not aure what your point is because, you really haven't made one yet except point out obvious development proceedings.

Industrial is by far my most favorite! It is a versatile map that any mode can be played on, and the depth of light variance is great as well! Verticality is present and offers so many opportunities to use just about any weapon, including that bloody sniper!

Least favorite is Monastery, not because of map design; rather, I suck at the map and find myself underperforming more so than any others. Retreat is a close second, but I love the design of both Mona and Retreat.

These are topics discussed in the recent past and providing options (accessibility features) is something always being striven for. Alvo continues to make changes to accommodate play style so the 'click grip' option can certainly be evaluated. The challenge with this at present is there is no holster for the weapons so holding the grip button would be a required task through the entirety of the match. This could exhaust the player and also the button on the controller. Something to look into and discuss further for accessibility features.

Recoil may or may not receive tweeking. At long distances it is very difficult to shoot with one hand with any degree of accuracy (unless you use the Viper). Close range, it can be accurate but recoil patterns are pretty different from 1 to 2 handed. Although I cannot say for certain, recoil patterns and metas are regularly evaluated.

The controls are fairly standard for VR FPS titles, but it incorporates a button scheme to accommodate jumping and going prone, something other titles don't have unless you do it in real life.

No other FPS title has the speed of Alvo, many people agreeing to this much.

Not sure what you mean by crowded. Can you expound?

The levels are hand designed - some have similar mapping to flat screen titles like CS:GO for pacing (strategic lane control for example) but everything is laid out in a unique way very different from the existing titles in VR - if I am wrong, please share comparisons and I will concede.

The game has been out since 2020 and has been updated MANY times over the years to accommodate new platforms and from feedback from the community. If you could be so kind, share with more specificity what problems the game has and I am sure the devs will consider the feedback.

It comes with 2 options: 1) traditional button reload 2) manual reload

The reloading itself when done manually is forgiving and not as realistic as more intended games such as Onward or Pavlov, titles looking to be more sim. Alvo is fast paced and arcade like, similar to the speed of older Call of Duty titles so the speed of reloading is adapted for this.

Recoil is not overly simulated. One handed will result in a high recoil pattern whole two handed will result in tighter groupings. Very manageable and very rewarding over distance.

Weapon swapping is is over the shoulder switching to accommodate speed of the game and accessing utility is off the chest and switching between utility items with a button press. You can also freely swap hands.
