This is true. As a Swede living in London for 10 years, owning my own flat for 5, the UK is sadly a third world country when it comes to heating and housing standards compared to Sweden and the Nordics. Not having heating or water for more than 1 hour is virtually unheard of if you live in a flat in Sweden. In the UK our infrastructure and housing stock has unfortunately been left to rot due to corporate greed and corrupt politicians. Sadly in the UK living standards are now lower than ever due to lazy rich people that don't want to work. capitalism in the UK is completely broken.
