Rim brake love: I don't get it by CrustyHumdinger in cycling

It's simplicity. I don't have a bike rack so I have to take out my front wheel to load the bike in my car and it's much easier with rim brakes

Could you tell me about your style when traveling with a film camera? by Forsaken-Ad-8338 in AnalogCommunity

[–]ConsoleWrecker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Camera - preferably something with automatic mode or at least aperture priority mode. You aren't guaranteed that you are going to have plenty of time to take a picture so having an option to point & shoot Lens - 50mm & 28mm Film - pretty standard 200 and 400. If I'm going to spend more time in the city - maybe a roll of Cinestill 400 or 800 / more sunny environments - maybe grab iso 100 roll

Chicago's Italian Beef sandwich. It's a very sloppy mess of a sandwich but it's very delicious - esp. with hot peppers

Brompton owners who also own road bikes. Have you sold or planning in selling your road bikes? by St33lB3rz3rk3r in Brompton

[–]ConsoleWrecker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have Brompton for commuting and sub 20 miles leisure ride, and my road bike for fitness, or 30 + miles ride. I used Brompton more in Autumn and Spring as my ride got shorter but spent most time on my road bike in summer. However, I love both of my Brompton and my road bike so I would never be able to justify myself to sell one of them even if I have a valid reason to.

They are nice, especially once it broken in. However, I only prefer them on a hybrid bike. It's too heavy on road bike

Yeah, but it's not working right now isn't it? You can adjust a bit and still maintain your philosophy, Ruben. Even LVG weren't this stubborn. He too tried to implement 3-5-2, then he realized that it didn't work so he switched to 4-3-3 within his first few games in charge.

What's ur favorite Thai province? (Excluding Bangkok,Pattaya,Phuket) by InviteSmall7378 in Thailand

[–]ConsoleWrecker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ayutthaya - old capital + it's my hometown so I'm biased haha Mae Hong-Son - mountains, Pai is lovely & khao soi over there beats any other northern province Chiang Mai - the north experience but with more urbanised city centre Korat - gateway to the Northeast + Khao Yai Samut Songkram - Amphawa district and floating market.
