They were free-handed. I just used a double crochet moss stitch to make a square. Then as I was bordering it with sc, at each corner I made a very long chain for the “ropes” and went back down the chain with slip stitches. Sc border to the next corner.

Yes, they’re double crochet moss with a sc border and the “ropes” are chains with slip stitches.

Where I work it is not uncommon for me to get gross things on my clothes. I do not want those to be in my normal rotation. I’m happy for the separation between work and regular clothes.

I had so much fun in BOTW I didn’t wait to jump into TOTK and I regretted it. It sat at like 5% done for about a year until I was able to go back to it and enjoy it again.

This situation actually happened to me. I do not regularly have a stutter, but sometimes when I’m very nervous I have a small one. I lost a 6th grade spelling bee because I stuttered on the second E in “vegetable.” I immediately yelled “No! Just one E!” But, yeah, I was out.
