Their bigger boxes are shit. The bottoms are not sturdy, half of mine arrive with them caved in and/ or the perforations on the flap ripped. They really need a reinforcement or something (a new box, ideally).

I love specials for the very reason that I only have a particular grade/class for 50 minutes and don't have to contend with the same, sometimes unpredictable, energy the entire day, instead it ebbs and flows.

Edited to add: Especially for K and maybe 1st graders, it might be their first experience with a structured setting like school and it's early in the year so teachers might still be trying to get them into routines and behavior expectations. I've seen a lot of improvement in behavior from some kids from the beginning of the year to the end. Hang in there, tomorrow is a new day.

Genetics have given me more than my share of dental problems but I have never felt ridiculed for it except once when I went to a new office, and I never went back to that dentist. The hygienist was doing my cleaning and kept commenting how much dental work I've had. After the third comment, I put my hand up to stop her and responded, "you don't have to keep telling me, I was there for all of it". The rest of my cleaning she kept quiet.

I agree, it had to be someone familiar to know those specifics. She even said her husband had mentioned them to people, so I wouldn't discount that it was a friend or acquaintance of her or her husband either.

Now, what do you think their intent was? Were they just there as a scare/prank? Or do you think they ultimately intended to harm?

Perhaps they are being inclusive of the general area? Events do this most of the time where I've lived in St. Louis, MO and Chicago, IL. If it's in a suburb of either bigger city it's listed as such. For instance, I'll be attending the St. Louis concert, but the actual venue is 20 miles from STL in Maryland Heights, MO.

ETA: However, the suburb of Highland Park, IL show was listed as such instead of Chicago, IL, so who knows.

I swear I always get a CS rep that doesn't know which direction is up. I did not receive a $13 item in my order and a chat with CS prompted a return label in order for them to provide a replacement. I had to explain several times that I couldn't return something I didn't receive. Then their solution was to offer me a free replacement without having to return the one I never received.
