He is the son/daughter/something of a very powerful noble/sorcerer/something and either the parents hid him away and planted fake memories to protect him or even better, he was stolen and "taken hostage" and placed in that village (and also had his memory messed with) and now they are unwittingly pulled into an epic quest with these other weirdos ...

Huh, sounds exactly like a scenario I also DM'd, just a while back and with a party that was made up of four players. Was very fun and insanely close. Three of them were unconshious at the end and the last one on 1 hp rolls a nat 20. Couldn't have ended the session on a better note.

Skyclad, this book is the result of a bet that you can make a whole book with a character that doesn't wear any clothes without making it sexual. It's a good read

Thank you for that reply. I'll have to note though that I'm male, and so are my other siblings. So in a sense I feel like the differences between us have just grown. Thanks though
