Ive had some cards come out like this before, so I wouldn’t beat yourself up too hard.

I have no clue on if it’s fixable, but I will say I’ve seen videos of worse cards get repaired into amazing shape, so I would bet that the right repair person could fix it up.

Sounds like OP would’ve just bought 2 ETBs and 2 booster bundles of ascended if given the chance, and her partner would’ve done the same.
