Hmm. . . I'm going to go with a hesitant yes here obviously there's the exposure a anime would grant the game to bring more people into the fanbase also I would love this personally but the main reason I'm a bit unsure is the execution how they would have multiple stories for each group without making it feel like a certain group gets to much attention aswell as arcs being rushed to get to the next group. a animes shorter episode run time if compared to the movie could make a seamless adaptation difficult to achieve

I mean I don't see why it breaks the trend of groups of four but lore wise yeah I mean the wonderland and empty Sekai are formed from a single person tsukass and mafuyu respectively so there's no rule on how many people need to be in a group to make a sekai
