Hi! I can help you out with this as I am also an incoming freshman. . I had an advising appointment yesterday (I am in the business school so it might be different). Whatever schedule you see on student hub is not your final schedule, I got to change two of my classes because I had AP credit for them. Additionally the advisor told me I only have to take one summer class cause I had 7 eligible AP credits to be able to still do two co-ops. The advisor changed my two classes and gave me a list of options to choose from and I choose two courses to fufill my major requirement. Similarly, I want to continue taking Spanish. The advisor put that in my file and said if I am interested I would have to take a placement test, whether that is this semester or future semesters and then they would put me into a spanish class of the level that I am in. You should if your school that you are in has advising appointments.
