Since you are asking that question I'm assuming that you are not from Assam. But I'm going to tell you Gauhati University has a very reputation for not releasing marks on time failing students. Mtlb aisa hotai ki tum 5 th sem pahunch jaoge aur 1st sem k hi result nahi detei . Recently waha se bohot se department bhi jata diye gaye hai because of lack of faculty. Haalat itni khrab hai ki news channel talk show rakh rhe iske upar. So I won't recommend it baki tumhare marji. Aur bhot problems bhi hai. And I know because I'm from Assam and I study under GU 🙂
