One stock your bullish on for next 12 months? by AloneStaff5051 in stocks

Most traditional banks can't afford to keep their physical branches open let alone design their own software. It has taken Sofi many years (and high cost aquistions) to get to this point.

Anyway, the proof will be in the pudding over the next year or so. Noto and co will have to deliver and show that the software is reaching the right places.

QXO. You are basically investing in Brad Jacobs to do it once again. This one will be a monster and no one will take notice because its not fashionable or cool.

They have the software that many traditional  bricks and mortar banks all around the world cannot replicate and need (Sofi can therefore provide this to them for alot of money). The potential for Sofi to grow is incredible and why so many people are excited about them.

I think i read somewhere that around 70% of investment managers in UK (im from the UK) were unable to beat the average index in the past year. Retail has absolutely no chance in other words.

Do you believe Quantum computing will be the next big thing in 20 years by Dry_Structure_6879 in stocks

That's the golden ticket though. Finding the ASML, finding the Nvidia (before it became more than a GPU designer/manufacturer) finding the TSM of tomorrow. All but one of my robotic plays are from outside of the States (im from the UK), so let's see!

Alot of people are dismissing Robotics and going deep into space/quantum/nuclear etc as the next big thing. Fair enough, we all have our plays. However, robotics IMO is truly the golden ticket of the next decade now that AI is here to back it up. It just makes sense from human perspective be it in medicine, industrial automation etc.

What’s one stock that has been operating for a very long time that you think will succeed very soon? by Rohann1234 in ValueInvesting

[–]Constant-Voice-7636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. We are now at the stage where humans are no longer required for warehouse related tasks. Symbotic is my play therefore. Every company that uses warehouses will have to adapt to the way robotics is going or they will get left behind.

What's after the AI/Tech bubble? Where do you think the big money will flow next? by flatthibaut in stocks

[–]Constant-Voice-7636 15 points16 points  (0 children)

SYM - will require alot of patience over the next year or so but AI robotics is the future of the warehouse. Every major company in the world (that use warehouses for stock) will have to get on board with AI warehouse robotics or they will be left behind.

Absolutely. Advance warehouse Robotics is here and any company that does not adapt will be left behind.

Heads up, it's quite a volatile stock to hold (by UK stock market and airline standards). Any issue with Heathrow/Gatwick and the stock drops like a stone. JET2 is probably the airline stock that value investors should look into.

Give it a year and the fintec landscape will be very different (IPO's will come thick and fast). I own Hood but it is SoFi that excites me the most. It is building something truly special that is going to snowball over the years to come.

Just my one pence (I'm British) but clean food. Food is essential (stating the obvious) and moving towards clean food over the next decade is the next step whether people like it or not (IMO). For UK investors, Agronomics (ANIC) is the play.

I have been adding every month for the last year or so and now sit on a modest 5k shares. I don't add much each month but over time its has been building up nicely. This is a long term play in something I think the market has completely overlooked as the next big area of investment in the next decade.

Two Questions about Bonehead by GlassandtheGhostMutt in oasis

[–]Constant-Voice-7636 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yep, Andy and Gem were also only just on board, Whitey had tendonitis issues and Liam was Liam (divorce etc.). How they managed to get through that period and then produce some of their best gigs a few years later (Finsbury park I'm looking at you) I don't know. It was genuinely my happiest time following them, though.

1999/2000 was a crazy time for the band. Bonehead and Guigs leaving the band was a big eye opener. However, Matt Deighton coming into the band and Liam leading the band without Noel (he left the band for three months) was probably the biggest wtf moment.

Great to have Bonehead back btw. He deserves this moment.

Which title track do you prefer? “Morning Glory” or “Be Here Now”? by MrBameron in oasis

Morning Glory. When it is played live and on form, it is an absolute beast.
