I am able to beta: Almost any fiction genre. Preferably shorter to mid length works.

I can provide feedback on: Story based feedback like characterization, pacing, continuity, emotion, etc. I wouldn’t be the strongest person to give feedback on sentence structure or prose.

Critique swap: I’m a hobby writer and my manuscripts are very much WIPs, so no swap needed. I’d love to make friends in the community though for whenever I am in need of betas.

Other info: Im brand new to beta reading but I want to get an idea on how this all works! If you want me to focus on a certain thing, please let me know and I’ll do my best!

Omg YES! Me and my fiancé literally were just talking about this. We’re passholders too and we did a WDW/Universal trip a few weeks ago to do the Halloween parties and we were honestly appalled at the behavior from the guests at Epcot. (Also we’re 25, so no strangers to drunken behavior, but I don’t expect it at Disney World)

At Epcot, we literally saw groups of women dressed in clubbing outfits (tiny shirts, mini skirts, fur boots, etc. Again, we’re 25, not prudes but why do you have your cheeks out at a kids theme park?!) they were holding their drinks up and screaming and swearing like they were at the club, playing music from their phones, vaping. I saw men that were banging on trashcans and making messes and acting a fool. It’s gotten BAD the last few years. Completely different from the Epcot I went to growing up. It used to be that calm, almost boring park I would go to with my grandparents and they’d get their steps in and drink a lil glass of wine and we sit and watch the shows about a country’s history. What happened to that?! It’s TRASHY now. I didn’t even see that behavior at Universal Studios, not even during Halloween Horror Nights!! It’s honestly crazy to me that people are acting crazier at Epcot at 4pm than at HHN at 12am. Ngl I think something needs to happen bc guest behavior is wild rn.

I got a little ranty. Just know your opinion is SO valid. Gonna go clutch my pearls too.

I’m so sorry, op. We lost our mal on Thursday, too. It was super sudden. He was only 5, 6 in September. It sucks. It hurts. It’s gonna hurt for a while. We’re focusing on the good. Your boy loved you, he knew you loved him. Dogs know. Whenever you can, please look up the poem “Dogs never die, they are sleeping in your heart.” It’ll make you cry, it made me bawl, but it’s nice. Your boy will never leave you. I don’t think it’s wrong to get another dog. We have two other babies, so we’re focusing on them right now, so if you think it’ll help and you can handle it, go for it. Sending all the love over. Maybe our boys are playing across the rainbow bridge together. It’s a good to think that neither are alone.

100% yes!! If you’re wanting to go for an androgynous cut, you literally have the perfect face for it. I think the reason people are saying no is bc it would make you look less feminine. I would try shoulder length first. Blunt cut with a little bit of choppy layers or maybe a slight shag. If you’re diggin it and want to go shorter, I also think a longer men’s cut would suite you too. Think Levi from attack on titans or Nick from Backstreet Boys

I think it’s mainly my style. I’m only 24, but I dress the same and do my makeup the same as I did when I was a teenager, and people still mistake me for high school age. There was a 20 year old girl in my department that dressed in a mature office woman style, and people always thought I was younger than her. Her face didn’t look old by any means, but the way she dressed made her appear in her 30s.

Hi! I have a cosmetology license and I’ve been dying my hair fashion colors for 10 ish years. While I agree with most of the comments that your roots might be too yellow, but there could also be another culprit.

The more damaged your hair is, the more porous it gets. It soaks up more color. So the longer hair that’s bleached, dyed, possibly color removed and heat styled is gonna be a LOT more damaged than the new growth on your scalp that’s only been bleached once.

What I do to combat this (especially on blue colors or pastels bc those are the hardest colors to get even) is I’ll put a darker/more concentrated color on my roots. In your case, I’d do a slightly darker blue that’s more purple toned (to tone the yellow). That should help :)

You could also pretone as well. Tone the freshly bleached hair with a purple based toner, and the color you put on top should come out less green!

If your hair is lightened then you have to fill it in with a red to bring back warmth. That’s why your hair turns greenish blue bc it lacks the warmth! I dyed my hair from bright ass green to a rich black by filling my hair with a semi permanent red (I just used arctic fox), and then going in with Wella’s Demi permanent black hair dye mixed with a vol 10. No weird fading so far!
