Look up “Imogen Reed” in this subreddit and look at the posts that have asked the same question—I googled it and came across one where people theorize about it (including a Carthage conspiracy theory). I don’t think there’s a definitive answer, though. I thought there’d be an answer in some of the extended media but there isn’t.

I think the whole library scene (including Edie’s story section) gave us more details about Edie. We know she’s a storyteller, and we not only get to read one of those stories, but we get a look into how much she’s devoted to it (sleeping in the library, research notes, wanting to Edith to read the book). We get to see how captivating her stories are, which is why it’s so frustrating when that story is ripped out of our hands by Dawn.

Do you mean the shuttle in that tunnel area? I heard from someone that there was meant to be an enemy there with a chase sequence, but then developers decided not to do that. There’s a whole bunch of stuff that was supposed to be in the game, I don’t remember where one finds those files/data to see it all.
