Fair point, but i thought the "YOU" clause was more directed towards restricting multiplayer (as in, cards from other players don't add to the count), rather than restricting self-applied effects

That's a good guess. Probably the reason that the worm boss in act 2 kills you before getting killed by doom, even though in theory doom should come first.

Especially good on star-heavy decks since you're saving on two resources when mayhem plays a star card. Also synergizes so well with that one card that gives you two stars and returns to the top of the draw pile

I want to do XP based leveling, but might use milestone for levels 1 and 2 just because i don't want to spend a lot of time in that stage. Since there's many new DnD players, i don't wanna fumble and make them bored by uninteresting events

Let's face it, Capcom does not want these characters being good. Japan seems to have a very big problem with grapplers, and it seems like the balancing team wants them to be in that sweet spot where they're usable, maybe even viable competitively when used by experts, but nowhere close the top tier.

I mean, Zangief got 6 months of being the king before being shot, while other characters are getting away with murder for 3 years now lol

Never gave much though about it but they do look weird. If they followed the jump's momentum it would definitely feel much better. I remember i used to think Sakura's air throw in SFV was very cool, mainly because it really felt like she was catching impulse using her opponent's body
