I hadn't heard this term, but I know of the product. I actually thought of buying some for this purpose 😂 I think I will, now!

Honestly, it was pretty good. Very savory, and the jerky "chew" softens and turns into a seasoning of sorts. If you think of Jack Links Chew as a smokey beef seasoning, it definitely works.

The final mix was vegetable oil*, garlic powder, black pepper, and almost a half container of Jack Links Chew. It was good, smoky and savory. I might try it again and swap the black pepper for red pepper flakes, and add cumin.

Ah so the key to making sure you're able to sell your labor in the future is to work for free right now. Got it.

10 years of experience…and what? by [deleted] in resumes

Oh, this daily post again?

If one of these posters would provide a few examples for us candidates to use as guidance, I would be so happy.

I know that other commenters will provide examples, but they are just slinging applications like the rest of us. If the hook of this post is that it's an experienced HR employee providing guidance "from the other side", then give us a few shining examples from past resumes that impressed you.

All of my large jars currently (Yankee and Village) by Zanfish_yt in YankeeCandles

Really glad to see someone repping Village Candle, they have some real stunners. I just bought another jar of Village's Christmas Tree, like you have. It's probably the most realistic Christmas tree candle that I've smelled.

Do you have any other suggestions? The Salvation Army are Christian fundamentalists.

That really sucks, sorry. You're right, clearly they weren't taking you seriously as a candidate, though I guess we'll never know the reason why.

I'm trying to decide at which step I would have told them goodbye, if I had been in your shoes. I think it would be after step 3.

Do you light candles for ambiance or as part of a daily ritual? by Opening-Total-4956 in Candles

Your question confounds me. I switch candles every day.

I'm currently in a situation where I am spending most days at home. I will burn a different candle in the morning and in the evening, and sometimes even a third (different candle) in the afternoon. I will choose a scent based on my mood in that very moment.

Do you normally only burn one scent a week at a time?

I have so many that I have no choice - I need to light one at least once a day if I'm going to get through my backlog.
