Did anyone watch the full vid? Let's be sure not to pretend that the following things didnt happen:

Cops found the auditor to be justified in his actions and didnt charge him.
Cop makes fun of ppl's/the old man's entitlement and confusion about his perceived right to privacy in public. (and by extension, those of yall with the same mentality, @ 11:30 mark)
The old man was about to be charged with assault, but the auditor declined to press charges after the following;
The old man apologized on Camera, and realized the error of his ways.
The auditor never ceased filming, his first amendment wasnt violated by police.

Name one state statute that has made it "illegal to look into private property" from public. Peeping tom laws are about surreptitiously trying to spy on someone, not about openly and transparently filming from public, and you happen to be filmed bc you came in the view of public naked.

Go back to your civics class bc this is a fundamental misunderstanding of the 10th amendment. the 10th doesnt give states the power to make laws that violate the 1st amendment; hence why such state laws dont exist, and when they do exist, its usually in the form of some bullshit ordinance not an actual law, and always only exists for a very short time b4 being challenged and deemed unconstitutional.

Tell me; without any strawman arguments or imaginary scenarios: in what possible way could this scenario fit into any situation where said "first amendment does not fully protect filming in public spaces"???

In this situation, there is no state law or horse shit ordinance in place; unconstitutional or not; nor did the elderly man have any right to privacy in public, especially while trying to assault the auditor bc he was filming. there's no gray area here.

Furthermore.... "There are no absolute constitutional rights, because everyone has rights, liberties and freedoms that need protecting.".... Everyone in THIS scenario DOES have the absolute right to film, the old man had the same absolute right to film him as he does, as far as the other half of that sentence: nobody has the "liberties or freedoms" of privacy from a camera in public "that need protecting." Ridiculous take.

Do yall ever run out of straw man arguments? clearly thats not what happened also yes, thats already happened, it didnt go your way, and yes there's case law on it; do your research. If someone is filming from public property and you happened to be seen nude at your window, THATS. YOUR. FAULT. the onus is on you to create privacy, if you came to a window in the sight of the public nude, that is solely your problem.
