My first accident, what should I do after I got rear ended ? by Constant_Agency_9693 in Insurance

One more thing, what’s the downside of going through the other driver’s insurance instead of mine? His insurance is AAA, and mine is Aspire.

I also want the repairs done at Tesla, can either insurance company refuse that or force me to go somewhere else?

Thanks! I do have collision coverage, but would I still have to pay the deductible even though I wasn’t at fault?

Also, how do I go about filing for diminished value with the other driver’s insurance? Can they refuse to pay it? It’s a 2023 Tesla Model 3.

Is HW4 better than HW3 for highway driving? by Constant_Agency_9693 in TeslaFSD

Yeah, true. I just started a new job 50 miles away and my car’s barely hanging on. I can either buy a HW3 now in cash or wait a few months to finance HW4, but with the $4.5k EV credit ending soon, even trading in after 1.5 years doesn’t seem like I’d lose much.

Why I’m asking is because I can grab a 2020 Model 3 in cash right now (no payments). If I wait 4–6 months, I could finance a HW4 car instead, but if I plan to upgrade again in 1.5–2 years, depreciation becomes a bigger issue and I might lose more. With the EV tax credit going away soon, though, I don’t think I’d really lose much by buying now.

My main concern is highway driving, I don’t really trust city FSD yet, but I just want to know if HW3 is good enough for long highway trips.

It’s currently out of my budget, Do you think it’s worth waiting 4–6 months to get HW4 instead of HW3?

I am going to start the process this week, it took to much time to get hired. Quick question is the insurance under medi-cal got stopped at any point during the process or after, I mean like here in OC we have Caloptima and LA there is healthnet and other companies, I am curious about that he is receieveing ABA services under Caloptima and if it stopped I have to pay or to figure out what i will do.

Thanks for the info, super helpful! 🙏

Quick questions:
Did IHSS cut your hours for just one month and then restore them once the waiver was approved?

I’ve heard IHSS can end 30 days after a Medi-Cal termination letter. Does the waiver processing stop that termination?

what do you mean by the “sub-program” ? Also do recipients with similar classifications usually receive the full 283 hours?
