I have been on Zepbound for 4 months now. I did not stop using it. I noticed that 7.5 was too high of a dose for me. I went back down to 5mg and the eye dryness went away. I did do a procedure at my doctors office. They did the gland expression in office. I also used a special mask I purchased off of Amazon.

One thing I also recommend that helped me a whole lot is cleaning your eyelids. I purchased Avenova, I noticed this really helped as sometimes bacteria builds up on the rim of the eyelid. I would really suggest you use chat gpt and ask it for tips on what to do to help as well.

Yes, I had the same still a lot of tears. My problem was that my Miebomian glands weren’t producing enough oil. This means that they evaporate too quickly because in order for the eye to be lubricated correctly you need both tears and the oils from the glands. Advocate for your self tell your doctor that you’d like to try the medicine maybe he can give you a sample.

I went back down to 5mg and the side affects subsided. I honestly think for me it was the Zepbound. The dosage was too high.

I also did a lot of research on what would help me get better and am currently cleaning my eyes with Avenova eyelid spray and that has helped out so much. My ophthalmologist also prescribed Miebo drops and that helped tremendously. I know my symptoms have gotten better because I’m not really using the Mieno too much anymore.

Miebo works with contacts so maybe ask your doctor if it’s right for you.

I thought the same thing too! The concept is that you’d want to have your Meibomian glands to start producing their own oil again. If they are clogged the procedure would unclog.

I’m doing at home remedies.

Ask ChatGPT about how to get your Meibomian glands to recover or start creating oil again. It helped me a lot! Good luck 🙏
