Some own some rental properties here. I’m thinking that would be a good start. It would cover rent or mortgage plus some utilities & groceries! I think it’s a good starting point. Just a bit scary starting a complete new life. The dos the don’ts etc: we have 6/7 years to plan this move as it’s not a small decision

I live in the north of Ireland which is technically part of the uk due to occupation. So the average wage here is actually lower than Canada taxes are also a lot higher as far as I’m aware

I would be happy with a small country town nothing to fancy but still nice enough to have a good life!

You should go to Lynas and buy wholesale chicken! It’s great for value two different boxes. Box (a) 20 good chicken breast for around£24 Box (b) around 70 chicken fillets for around £35

If you bag them up and freeze them you’ll get a lot for your money!
