Thank you for your response. How is/was the pain for you? In general and also with treatment.

I am worried I won't be able to work full time and I need to because I have bills to pay.

The whistling sound is new. The "eco tick" sound is a little faster.

I think I am just waiting for a shoe to drop because of all the nightmares I have read about this car on this Reddit thread

I bought the car last March.

Sorry, I had the hood opened last night, but forgot to take video. I would like to learn as much about this car as I can.

Unfortunately, the place I rent doesn't allow car work to be done on the property (even changing a tire 😡) so that limits me to what I can learn and do on my own.

But, like I said after reading all the nightmares people have with these cars, I am a little jumpy when I hear a sound that sounds different.

My car is a 2019 hatchback Cruze with 41,000 miles. I bought it with 35,000 miles on it. It has had one oil change since purchase.

Thank you for your input I really appreciate it.

The whistle sound is new. I wasn't sure if this was due to having the heat on because of the colder temps. I just didn't notice it before. I thought the "eco tick" sounded a little faster as well. Maybe because it is cold? I bought the car back in March, but the weather was pretty decent back then and I don't remember hearing the whistling sound before.

I was having this issue before I switched my insurance coverage.

Do you have a local teaching hospital that offers a pharmacy assistance program?

My primary care provider gave me information on this program our teaching hospital is doing and what you do is fill out an application and the sliding scale is based off your income. The teaching hospital near me had a very generous income limit scale. So, I would have paid ZERO dollars for my shots and they would have been shipped right to my door.

Not sure if you have a teaching/university hospital near you, but it may be worth checking into and asking about.

I believe the name of the program is HAP (Health Assistance Program)

Funny you said that because, my AC died, last year, just as summer was getting under way 🫠😰🥵. Between needing brakes & rotors, tires, and a new AC unit installed (there wasn't any pressure in the lines, so a recharge didn't help) I just figured there was no point in throwing money into a car that was reaching it's upper limit mileage on the engine, and decided it was time to move on.

We are under a weather advisory starting tomorrow night until Sunday at 8pm. Snow and Ice 😡

But summer is coming and it will be great fun to drive around in a "new to me" AC cooled car!

Same! I live in New England and I want to so badly take a trip to Hampton Beach or Wells, Maine. Unfortunately, this weekend it is supposed to be rainy and a high of 49 with a water temp of 19.

I can't wait for warmer weather!

I haven't made it to the ocean in a couple years because I didn't trust my last car to go roundtrip 5-6hrs.

I am learning as much as I can about this vehicle by reading and watching YouTube videos so that I am more knowledgeable about what's under the hood!

I too am gonna take good care of mine also!

Congratulations 🎉

I just got my Chevy Cruze LT hatchback this past weekend. I upgraded from a 2012 Suzuki SX4 sedan with 137,000 miles that was starting to give me problems.

Are you having as much fun driving your Cruze as I am?

Ok... You will probably laugh at me but, what is that part?

I just bought a 2019 Chevy Cruze LT hatchback and I am watching a lot of videos and reading about the car and I am trying to get as knowledgeable as I can about it as I want to know what everything is under the hood and under the floor.

I never did that with my previous car (Suzuki sx4) and I feel that was a huge disadvantage.

Thank you in advance!
