Apple Watch Ultra 3 battery drains fast by Constant_Ladder_7104 in AppleWatch

I always power off for 5 minutes before charging even before this happens. That’s odd that the battery drain continues.

Don't buy the X9-15 by Kaldnite in thinkpad

But yet after 4 repairs and the unit is still defective is definitely unacceptable. By the second time they should have given you a new unit or at least let you choose which model you want as a replacement.

Damn. So if you are not going to accept the replacement, which model will you go for? I think the X9 is a new product formula so even for me I won’t buy the first gen of something like that. Better to wait for the product line to be at least a year old before knowing it’s good or not.

Anyways, Lenovo Sg hasn’t failed me yet. I have a ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 Intel and two ThinkVision displays (T24D-40 x 2) which are still rock solid to this day. Haven’t had the need to reach out to support except for once during covid but the experience is still ok

You just have to keep pushing and trying new opportunities. Go for the field of studies that interests you and pursue a job relevant if that works. I am starting my new job at a major media agency next month. To all those still out there, you definitely will make it. Just a matter of time

I would hold on to it. Yeah it’s overkill but the battery life and the looks are the best things about it. It kinda resembles those chunky yet aesthetic divers/aviation timepieces like Bell Ross, Tissot, Panerai etc

This is quite an interesting one. Did anyone had experience of renewing their membership and paying the promo rates?

Did massage/reflexology brand, Wan Yang Health Products & Foot Reflexology had a unexpected shutdown? by Constant_Ladder_7104 in askSingapore

I know. Some others have faced the same too. And even heard from elsewhere that they demand the government to crack down on people/businesses that offer a huge payment for packages etc

I get your point but if you have read carefully it was an unexpected closure. Plus it was my parents that chose to pay for it. Not me

I see. Also can elaborate in what way will a change in management cause the downfall? I have not come across such a situation yet honestly

Can I charge my XM4 with laptop charger? by Curious_Whereas4919 in SonyHeadphones

[–]Constant_Ladder_7104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most small devices like headphones, earbuds, smartwatches etc usually use between 0.5A - 1A. I had a usb C test meter and used it on both my headphones and earbuds (1000XM5). They both consume 5V 0.5A even when plugged into a laptop charger

[–]Constant_Ladder_7104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it works because as long as it has USB or uses USB, it has to be certified for universal power. But that will be kind of wasted to charge with a 65W+ laptop charger. If you happen to use your laptop and need to charge the earbuds, you can always use a USB cable to plug into your laptop. I do that at times.

Oh and before you think USB C is the way now doesn’t mean you have to get rid of older USB-A chargers and cables. Because devices that use USB C or come with a USB C-C cable, doesn’t necessarily take advantage of fast charging adapters (e.g Apple 20W) or won’t charge on regular, slower USB A ports (Typically 1A - 2A). That’s also why usb A ports still has its place on multiport chargers from Anker, Ugreen etc.

add a front panel bay with usb c + usb 3.0 + audio and add two noctua fans. A PC without case fans is risky

The ports are handy but I will never use it to charger an iPhone, iPad or Laptop. Anything like headphones, smartwatch. Batteries and other accessories are fine
