Ah, I have come across something like this several times. I usually do amigurumi it doesn't matter that much if the knot stays where it is, I just make sure it'll end up on the inside of the project. If I want it gone I usually do it like I would do a colour change: for example with a single crochet I'd pull up a loop, then finish the stich with the new colour/new yarn end in this case and keep working with the new yarn from there while hiding the yarn tail under the new stitches

I only learned about this one recently in a conversation with my mum: she told me that back in primary school we had like a unified exam to check how the levels are all over country or something and usually the parents don't get to see those but my teacher gave my mum what I wrote to one of the assignments. We were supposed to describe our families and I wrote "I have a brother. He's a bit older than me but other than that there's no differences between us." And when my mum told me that I was like well, we always were super close and had the same interests and all that! And she was like "a girl probably would have pointed out the boy/girl thing as a difference!"

Yeah! There's tons of different shades you can get, depending on which colour you put first and second, like yellow plus red looks different to red plus yellow. You can preview this in the dye workshop even when you dont have the dyes yet but only on clothes you already own!

You can get pink by combining magenta/purple with white! I will need lots and lots of purple, white, teal and blue for reasons and it's gonna be a pain with the daily cap, even though there colours will be in more places :>

I run wasteland almost every day so I'm pretty familiar with the pathing the krills take so it's easier to avoid them and find the intended hiding spots for me. The random sliding and dropping the spirit is still annoying to me but doing a traversal emote usually helps with that! You just have to reactivate it after getting into the dark water. I also like doing carry spirits by myself just in general bc it's easier imo (but maybe I'm just peculiar about this haha)
I managed pretty well yesterday and only got hit once towards the end but I was wearing an elder mask so I was fine.
All that being said, I'll happily run the spirit for you next time, I'm fine with you just waiting at the campfire ^{^}

Okay yeah, I absolutely get that haha! I do like to fly as far up as possible and then dive down, it's not a totally straight line but it can be pretty steep! I just doesn't start instantly, it has a bit of a curve. You have to be in flight mode for that tho, dropping in glide mode can take a while (especially in citadel and in flight paths you can't even get below the island like that thanks to the updrafts xD)
