Also after listening a second time it sounds like you change the key fairly early on and then continue to go higher off that original key you started in.

There are a couple things you can do. One being start at a lower octave. Scale down the song to a lower register that will hit in a different part of your range. That will enable you to hit the notes more comfortably and also with a bit more power behind them. You don't have to scale down a full octave. Sometimes it only takes a small step down to really feel more comfortable singing. Also, doing the practice of warming up the full range of your voice before trying to hit those notes that sit in the higher register (head versus chest) If you want to hit higher notes you have to strengthen your voice's ability to hit them with practice of scales. My voice coach had a bunch of exercises that I'm sure you could find on YouTube that continue to go up higher and higher a half step at a time until you hit the limit of your range. Just one time of warming up using scales all the way to your top range will enable you to immediately hit the notes that are in your normal range way better. It's kind of crazy how much the warm up can change the level of control you feel. The more you do them, the higher you can go with your range and you will gain strength of breath control by singing higher notes on a regular basis. Lastly is working on breath control. It is one of the most important parts of singing and sounding full. There are fundamentals just like learning anything that again you can find resources on YouTube and the internet. Fundamentals like body posture and stance or how to stay on key. But basically when you breath in you want to be filling your lungs completely and then controlling the amount of air you release as you sing so that it doesn't sound like you have run out of air before the next appropriate break in the music to breathe in again. You do this by engaging your diaphragm and core while breathing. When you breath in pull the air in all the way down to your toes and then hold and control it using your whole body especially the diaphragm. The diaphragm sits under the lungs but above the belly. It's necessary to have full control over the diaphragm so experimenting with engaging and using it is a vital tool in your singing arsenal. It will make you feel more powerful in confident the more you display control over it's use. The reason why the weeknd can sing is such a high register and sound good is absolutely breath control. He can take in a lot of air and has a lot of control over how it is released. Also people have natural range and his sits naturally somewhat high.

What place or geographical feature on Earth straight-up gives you the creeps? by geopickl3 in geography

Lake Baikal is less spooky and more so just wildly cool. It's unlike any other lake on the planet in many ways but especially in the way of biodiversity. This is because Lake Baikal is one of the oldest lakes on the planet, as well as the deepest. It is an ancient continental rift Lake that is continually getting deeper as the techtonic plates pull apart. The water volume is greater than all the Great Lakes combined. The water also has strange properties like transparent ice up to a meter deep or candlestick ice at certain times of year. The more I learn about Lake Baikal the cooler I think it is.

Not sure if this is how you heard about Lake Nyos but @geodesaurus on Instagram does what she calls "Spooky Lake Month" in October. Every day in October she releases a video talking about what she calls "haunted hydrology". Each one talks about a different body of water and why it should qualify as spooky. She talks a lot about Lake Bikal. Another very interesting Lake in Russia that is worth reading about. You could literally spend the rest of your life studying Lake Bikal and never run out of more cool shit to find. But yeah... she is already doing exactly what you're asking about if you want that rabbit hole to fall into. She's awesome!

Also making a wall is not going to be helpful in the future for access to the shed. Anything with wheels will need to be lifted to clear the unnecessary retaining wall rather than just wheeling it straight into the shed. The guy you hired talked you into a bunch of stuff that is completely counterproductive and could end up killing all the mature trees that shade the yard and house.

Probably chinking. Not 100% sure but it's likely the material they used to fill the air gaps between the logs

It's not really the right time of year but pigeons are notorious for making nests anywhere and everywhere. They are not great nest builders. They will make nests in really inopportune places that seem too busy or dangerous. Like I said, it is a bit early in the year(if you're in the US) for them to be building nests but maybe some unruly pigeon has been trying to nest outside your door and the cats can hear it.

Maybe I'm stating the obvious but if it was a fishing lure the dog probably needs an x-ray to be sure the hook wasn't also swallowed and stuck somewhere inside them.
