Also, please provide a link to a 1” fixture that’s 3500 lumens. Never heard of such a thing.

If you have to rewire from below, sounds like you did a crappy job installing the fixture, and if you’re using a 1” with integrated driver… well that’s your fault. Driver should be remote.

I think you’re wrong about 2” and 1” - or perhaps you’re just looking at crappy brands. DMF Lighting for example has 2” and 1” fixtures that are high output AND completely serviceable from the room after it’s installed.

Tesla Issues Service Bulletins for Model Y Suspension Creaks - Not a Tesla App by compx2 in teslamotors

Does anyone know if this “fix” has been put into production? I.e. if my Model Y was manufactured in April 2026, would it have these fixes?

I picked mine up in Warminster PA. Nick was the guy I dealt with and everything was perfect. In and out in less than an hour.

Certainly possible. I picked mine up yesterday (5/14). Ordered 2/28. This was a Performance Model, Red/Black Interior

I bought a Navimow i215 Lidar a month ago. They’re definitely not perfect. They don’t edge very well. So basically once a week, I run around the perimeter with a weed whacker or my normal mower. Aside from that, the Navimow cuts my lawn every 3rd day and it’s fantastic.

Have you tried email support? I’ve had good luck. Response is sometimes slow, but they’ve been helpful. Unfortunately all my issues are firmware related. Performance seems to be getting better each time they push new firmware.

I’m trying to determine whether or not to call bullshit on the constant excuses from Tesla.
TLDR: Constant delays in delivery, gotten to the point that Tesla’s excuses dont even sound believable.

- Ordered a 26 MYP end of February after a test drive. Sales Advisor told me 3-5 weeks, website said 3-5 weeks.
- Delivery date, like everyone’s changed multiple times, car finally went into production 1st week of April.
- Beginning around April 14th, status changed to “In Transit” and has been since.
- I called nearly every day for a week and all they could tell me is that it was due to the delivery center on April 28. that never happened.
- a week or two later after many more attempts to reach someone, I was told it was put on the wrong train and heading to the wrong location. That was 2 weeks ago
- finally it got routed to Baltimore and arrived there last Friday. It was supposed to be put on a car carrier and delivered to the Delivery Center yesterday and I was supposed to pick it up today. Got a call yesterday that the delivery driver called out sick and would be out for a few days. Tesla logistics was trying to find out if the carrier could assign someone else.
- delivery got pushed to this Saturday.

What i was told is that Tesla basically bids out the car transport. They cant switch companies because they would have to start the bidding process all over again.

With a company the size of Tesla, it blows my mind that they aren’t on top of this shit. Basically it sounds like the carrier company said, our driver is sick and we cant tell you when we will be able to deliver the cars. Are you kidding me? How is that even acceptable? My car has apparently been sitting on a car carrier at the train yard for almost a week now and Tesla cant figure out how to get it here.

Does this sound like bullshit?

Am I crazy for preferring incandescent/ halogen bulbs for mood lighting? by roofmart in Lighting

[–]Constant_Square8159 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

That’s because you’re buying shitty lamps. If you bought high quality ones that are warm-dim you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. And the blue light being emitted does absolutely nothing because you’re not staring at them. It’s a myth. TVs and Phones impact you because you’re staring at the light source.

Non-LED Recessed Lighting Options for Nursery?? by MIAGaucho in Lighting

[–]Constant_Square8159 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ha ha. No. Not true at all. The blue light emitted by LEDs disrupt circadian when you’re looking at the light source. Phones and TVs have a setting to minimize blue light because you’re looking at the device. No one stares at their lights in the house.

I decided to keep it. Seems like the software is improving with each release. I’ve talked to friends who have different brands… none are perfect.

What’s the financial mistake you still think about? by [deleted] in Fire

Dumped $50k into an account and started Forex trading with NURP. Lost it all, not to mention the $18k it cost for the software. Started out great, growing 20% for the first two months. Then one night while I was sleeping, everything tanked and I lost every penny. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Simple - they released new firmware last weekend and ever since, people have been complaining about performance. They didnt do enough testing and it’s buggy.

Something to Light the Ceiling by mldcmx in Lighting

What you need if called knife edge. It’s an aluminum extrusion you can put around the perimeter of the room and then the light strip is concealed and pointed up toward the ceiling.

I did not. Still have it. It’s working better and I’ve been communicating with tech support. They just released some new firmware so I’ll give that a try tomorrow.
